Hard Week

Just like Mr. Yayan said before, this is the hard week. The difference is just the matter we have to do, hehe. Someone do something about food receipt and the other do about image processing experiment, filtering design, studying about another person research and use it as a part of your work. Wow….I’m still here and survive!

Somehow, that’s the way to be Mahabandit (Thai people call Master Degree as “Mahabandit”, sounds funny but it’s true !). The way is not as easy as you do in bachelor degree (you may know as “Sarjana” in Indonesian term) . Maybe, you don’t need to know your lecturer personally as far as you can study well and do your coursework assignment on time. Nevertheless, it will be a little bit different in Master course. If you are someone who choose Master by Research, you will know how hard your day in laboratory (of course for whom taking science field ! ). If you are the other one, applying Master Degree by Coursework, you are sure will be as sad as me now (actually, for this week only). You have to do your coursework while a research still be a part of your life. Whenever you have a final exam, you still feel confuse about a lot of paper waiting in the corner of your desk. Whenever your lecturer (we call Ajarn in Thai) give you an assignment, you also still be a part of your laboratory rhythm. It’s hard ! Believe me…..

Of course, life must go on. This is just a part of life rules otherwise you will spend all of your age to do what you’re not supposed to do. Right now, let the time finish all sad and change it to happiness in the end of the journey ….

   Hahaha, it’s just the same as mine, what a hard week.
   I started working on paper review about the topic my Professor gave me this Tuesday, still don’t know what I should write, and then he gave me more papers to read… what a “wonderful” day.

   You’re much better than me, you know what, even I haven’t entered Master program yet, I should write research proposal for my master thesis which would be one or two year ahead…

   Just enjoy it lah…
   When you imagine the degree that you will get ahead, you must be feeling so encouraged and ambitious

   I got those stories from my supervisor when he studied in Master at UKM. He took Master by research, and his daily life was full of pressures..
   Research… Research.. and Research..
   But he also learned some course materials related with his research…

   But, my another supervisor asked me to take master by coursework, because it can improve your skill and knowledge about your field of research.. or maybe it can help you to choose where is the interesting one among many field of researches in Civil Engeering…
